Lost Lad is one of the most iconic minor summits in the Peak District, located just north of Back Tor along Derwent Edge. At approximately 518 metres in elevation, the peak is marked by a cairn and a topograph. The name is linked to local legend about a shepherd boy lost in a snowstorm, commemorated by the cairn. It offers stunning panoramic views of Ladybower Reservoir and the Derwent Valley. Popular among walkers and history lovers, the route to Lost Lad is part of a classic circular trail including Derwent Edge and Back Tor.
