Longley, Sheffield, South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, England, S5 7NN, United Kingdom

Longley is a Sheffield suburb in the English county of South Yorkshire. It is a residential neighbourhood four kilometres north of the city centre, largely made up of homes build by Sheffield City Council in the late 1920s. The city’s Firth Park ward includes the area. Longley’s recorded history dates back to the late Middle Ages, with the first mention in 1366, when it was part of the parish of Ecclesfield. Before it became part of Sheffield, the Longley region featured a number of big country mansions, the majority of which have now been demolished (Longley Hall, Crowder House, The Brushes etc.)
