Bradfield Dale is a rural valley located 12 kilometres west-northwest of Sheffield. The valley is located just west of the settlement of Low Bradfield, within the Peak District National Park’s northeastern edge. The valley’s lower parts are served by two roads: Dale Road on the north side and Blindside Lane on the south. Mortimer Road winds its way around the valley at a height of around 310 meters.
