Holdworth is a small rural hamlet located inside the City of Sheffield. It is 7.5 kilometres northwest of the city centre, at an elevation of 280 meters above sea level, with expansive views south over the upper Loxley valley. It was noted in the Domesday Book of 1086 as a historic farming village. Far House Farm, which dates from the late 17th century and is a Grade II listed property, is the oldest building in modern-day Holdworth. Green End Farm, Heather Bank, Trickett Edge Farm, White House Bungalow, and Holdworth Hall are among the other structures in the hamlet.
