Ewden Village, Stocksbridge, Bolsterstone, Sheffield, South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, England, S36 3ZJ, United Kingdom
Ewden Village is a valley in Bradfield’s civil parish. Ewden Village is situated between the reservoirs of Moor Hall and Broomhead, near to and south of Bolsterstone. Ewden Beck flows eastward from Broomhead Moor, supplying the Broomhead reservoir. The excess outfall goes into the Don River. At 375 meters, Ewden Height is a local high point in the area. There are prehistoric earthworks and other remnants on the south bank of the beck, upstream of the reservoirs and Ewden road bridge: there is a Bronze Age cemetery of roughly 30 round barrows, normally less than 3m diameter and up to 1 m high.
