High Bradfield, Sheffield, South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, England, S6 6LG, United Kingdom
High Bradfield is a rural village inside Sheffield’s limits, located 10 kilometres north-west of the city centre. The settlement is located 2 kilometres inside the Peak District National Park’s north-eastern border, at an elevation of 260 meters, and boasts extensive views across Bradfield Dale towards Derwent Edge and the Dark Peak. The medieval Church of St. Nicholas, Bradfield, is the village’s most notable feature. Sheffield has only five Grade I listed buildings. Farming is still the mainstay of the village today. Church Farm is a large dairy farm that provides a significant volume of milk to the local area. Watt House Farm is a dairy property, but it is also home to the Bradfield Brewery, which is housed in a renovated barn on the farm. It produces a variety of beers, including Farmers Blonde and Pale Ale, as well as seasonal specialities.
