Strines Moor is a remote, high-altitude plateau situated near Bradfield and bordered by multiple reservoirs including Dale Dike and Agden. Characterised by rolling heather, peat bogs, and stone boundary markers, it is a haven for wildlife such as curlews and mountain hares. Walkers here experience solitude and big skies, particularly on less-travelled routes leading toward Derwent and Langsett. The moor is also part of historical sheep-grazing territory and features several old packhorse paths.
