Tapton Hill Map – Peak District

Location: 53.3798, -1.5137934

Tapton Hill is located on the western edge of Sheffield, near the suburb of Crosspool. While not part of the high moorland landscape of the Peak District proper, it marks a transitional zone between the urban fringe and the uplands. The area offers views over the Rivelin Valley and easy access to footpaths leading toward Redmires and Wyming Brook. Tapton Hall, nearby, is of local historical interest.
Note: More an urban hill than a true Peak District summit.
