Ox Stones are two prominent gritstone boulders located near Ringinglow, close to Sheffield’s western edge. Set on a ridge overlooking the city, they are easily accessible and often visited by walkers, runners, and cyclists. While modest in elevation, the stones provide excellent views and are a popular spot for informal picnics, photography, and short walks. They’re also a good introduction to Peak District landscapes for visitors arriving from Sheffield.
