Back Tor is a striking gritstone outcrop located on Derwent Edge, north of Ladybower Reservoir. With its jagged profile and steep drops, it is a favourite destination for photographers, hikers, and climbers. The summit provides sweeping views over the Upper Derwent Valley and into the heart of the Peak District. It is also a key point on the popular hiking route that includes Derwent Edge and Lost Lad. The rock formations here are both dramatic and iconic.
